Galaxy Note 3 is possible with a 5.99-inch flexible display Super AMOLED

Galaxy Note

Next-generation Galaxy Note smartphone can have a 5.99-inch flexible display Super AMOLED, reports Androidauthority resource, citing sources in South Korea. Earlier, Galaxy Note 3 was seen in the AnTuTu benchmark.

The display type of the Galaxy Note 3 can be changed depending on the market. According to MT Media, one of the options would be a flexible display, which will be launched in August. The smartphone will go on sale in September of this year. Since this information is not officially confirmed, it must be treated with some caution.

Samsung’s decision to use flexible displays in its next Galaxy Note line of smartphones can be explained not only by weak sales of the Galaxy S4 that didn’t meet the manufacturer’s expectations, but also by the growing threat from LG. The latter reported that it was ready to begin mass production of flexible displays in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Additional competition from Samsung may be created by Sony and HTC. Japanese Sony has already announced a 6.4-inch Xperia Z Ultra, and Taiwanese HTC, according to rumors, is preparing to release a 5.9-inch HTC One Max (T6).

Koreans have no choice. Samsung must prove to the world that it is still an innovative company.

One who really surprises with its innovative technologies is Google.
