HTC is preparing a strong middling Desire 601

The last few weeks on the Web, here and there, there is information that HTC is preparing a new smartphone with the code name Zara. Information about this new product is issued bit by bit, so after a while we decided to write a little more about this device.

Initially, Twitter user @evleaks shared information about this smartphone, whose predictions about new mobile devices are often quite true. After some time, an allegedly miniature version of the device, the Zara Mini, appeared on one of the Chinese portals. But most likely it is about the same device. Now tweet ”@evleaks writes that the device will actually be named HTC Desire 601, not Zara.

Recent leaks suggest that the new product will occupy the budget segment of the market, offering a 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The device will operate on a Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz in tandem with 1 GB of RAM. HTC will allocate 8 GB of permanent memory for storage of HTC's data, which can be expanded by supporting microSD memory cards.

HTC Desire 601 will get a 1.6 megapixel camera with UltraPixel technology and will be powered by a 2100 mAh battery. It is expected that the device will be running the operating system Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the proprietary add-on HTC Sense 5.5.

The novelty will be on sale before the end of this year, although the Taiwanese manufacturer itself is still silent.
