Do you think that LTE-Advanced cellular networks with a supported data transfer rate of 150 megabits per second are fast enough and you can’t even dream of anything else? But the future is rapidly increasing speed. Japanese resource Nikkei reports that the Japanese mobile operator KDDI will update its cellular network by summer 2014. After the upgrade, the data transfer rate in it will reach 220 megabits per second. Japan is famous for its high level of technology development. Even doghouses in this country sometimes take the form of a miracle of engineering.

Resource Engadget notes that the new service will appear along with some "smartphone on Android." It is not clear whether this is a platform as such or of a certain specific phone model. The new network will be based on a new wireless technology.

At present, it is not possible to clarify whether this is a faster version of LTE-A or a fundamentally new technology. However, all of the above at the moment should be attributed to the category of rumors that have not been confirmed by the KDDI operator.

If this information is true, then next year, having prepared morning tea in 45 seconds, the Japanese can immediately enjoy not only breakfast, but also informational “food.”
