LG has sold more than 15 million smartphones Optimus L-series

The South Korean company LG officially announced that at the moment more than 15 million L-series smartphones have been sold. LG expects the new L-series II line to be at least twice as successful.

According to LG, in the past two months, she was able to sell one L-series smartphone per second. Recall that currently in the line of L-series there are six Android smartphones: Optimus L3 (models with one and two SIM slots), L5 (models with one and two SIM slots), L7 and L9.

This year, LG hopes that the total sales of L-series and L-series II smartphones will be more than 45 million units.

Unfortunately, LG is still far from Apple and Samsung, which account for more than 50 percent of global smartphone sales.
