Samsung announced cheap smartphones Galaxy Star and Pocket Neo

Samsung continues to flood the market with entry-level smartphones. The official announcement of the Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pocket Neo models took place during the event of the Samsung Africa Forum 2013.

Both new products are running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and are equipped with two SIM slots.

Smartphone Samsung Galaxy Star (S5280) boasts a 3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of QVGA. The amount of RAM is 512 MB, and the amount of non-volatile memory - 4 GB. The list of specifications also includes a microSD slot, a Bluetooth 4.0 module and a 1200 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Pocket Neo model is based on a 850 MHz CPU and is equipped with a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The configuration of the novelty includes 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal flash memory, a microSD slot, 3G and Bluetooth 4.0 modules, and a 2 megapixel camera.

Smartphones Samsung Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pocket Neo will be available in Africa within a few weeks, unfortunately, the date of the start of sales of new products in Europe is not specified.
