What only man has not launched into space. In addition to the obvious rockets, satellites and space stations, hamburgers, Christmas trees and even garden gnomes visited it. In most such cases, all this is done, of course, for the sake of entertainment. However, some mobile device manufacturers have begun to realize that launching their gadget into open space can be a pretty good advertising gimmick. For example, LG recently launched its new flagship smartphone G2, which lost the Optimus prefix.

The company sent a device to the stratosphere (temperature around -50 degrees Celsius) to demonstrate that it can take high-quality pictures with its 13-megapixel OIS camera even in such extreme conditions. For this she used an inflatable balloon filled with helium.

In brief, we recall the specifications of the new LG G2: a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with a frequency of 2.26 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of permanent memory, the main 13 -MP camera with OIS sensor, an additional 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, 3000 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system.
