Representatives of mobile operators said that the first subscribers, who decided to transfer their number, will have to suffer.

Recall that from December 1, subscribers of mobile operators will be able to choose an operator without changing the number. For what the Ministry of Communications created and tested a single database of numbers. However, in practice, subscribers can expect unpleasant surprises.

Subscribers, who are among the first to decide to transfer their number, will not just remain without incoming calls from city numbers and from the numbers of mobile operators in the regions, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta. They can only call and send SMS.

Other services will not be available to them. Namely: it will be impossible to replenish the account through payment terminals or perform any other payment transactions from the phone.

Moreover, these problems will not stop, even if the subscriber returns to the “native” network, since the data about it will already be automatically deleted from the operator’s database.

Problems with the transfer from the network to the network will also arise from corporate numbers recorded on state-owned enterprises and institutions. But there is a procedure for payment of communication services.

However, despite all sorts of problems, Rossvyaz, together with its own institution, is working to improve the database of transferred numbers, which will be ready by November 29.

Therefore, the Big Three operators themselves are wondering why the state. the authorities had to hurry so much and move on to the new rules on December 1, on the eve of the new year, because it is time for the winter holidays, when the load on the network increases several times, due to which operators declare a moratorium on updating equipment and software.

Operators are again asking to postpone the abolition of mobile slavery to 2014. However, if they fail to convince the “legislator”, then they recommend that subscribers so far refrain from using this service and wait until the mechanism is run-in in practice and it becomes viable.
