Mobile World Congress is one of the largest mobile trade show events. Traditionally, the MWC is a launching pad for many smartphones and tablet computers, which throughout the year make headlines and newspapers. At the upcoming exhibition and congress of the mobile industry will be shown devices that were not represented during other brand events. Officially, the MWC-2014 will open on Monday, February 24, in Barcelona (Spain), but some companies have made it a rule to announce their new products the day before the exhibition starts. This year, one of the keynote speeches will be the report by Mark Zuckerberg, head of Facebook. So, what to expect from MWC-2014?
Huawei

Chinese Hauwei is going to present at the exhibition a few tablet computers and smartwatch. Previously, the company announced the Ascend P6S - an updated version of the smartphone Ascend P6. According to recent leaks, Hauwei may soon be launching a 7-inch MediaPad X1 tablet.
HTC

Instead, the company may present a smart watch based on Qualcomm Toq at the MWC. It is also expected to premiere budget smartphone HTC Desire 8 with a screen diagonal of 5.5 inches.
LG

The success of the smartphone G2 South Korean company LG makes us look forward to the release of his follower - G3. Since his presence at the MWC is too early for him, LG is preparing for the official showing of the G Pro 2 and the new line of L Series smartphones.
Since the LG G2 Mini, a smaller version of the G2, was announced earlier this week, the hype around it has subsided a bit, and journalists are now looking forward to getting to know it better at MWC.
Nokia

Finnish Nokia has scheduled a press conference at the MWC-2014, where, as expected, the budget Android-smartphone Nokia X, which besides the operating system has nothing to do with Google, will be presented. According to preliminary data, the device will take place among the phones of the Asha family.

The media expects that Nokia’s high-end Lumia smartphones will be announced at the Nokia event, including a smaller version of the Lumia 1520 phablet, which may be called the Lumia 930. However, most observers are focused on the above-mentioned smartphone X, also codenamed Normandy.
Samsung

South Korean electronics maker Samsung has already distributed to the press an invitation to its Samsung Unpacked 5 event, where many expect to see the flagship Samsung Galaxy S5. The event will take place on February 24, the opening day of the exhibition. The company even released a teaser video Samsung Unpacked. Judging by the video, the Galaxy S5 will get a waterproof case and other protective functions.

Much has been written about the Galaxy S5. According to rumors, Samsung can release two versions of the device, standard and premium, with an updated design of the user interface TouchWiz.
Another new Samsung will be the second-generation Galaxy Gear smart watches, which will work in conjunction with the Galaxy S5. Later this year, the SGS5 Mini and SGS5 Active smartphones are expected to be presented.
