The LG G Pro 2 went on sale disappoints with its price.

A little more than a week ago, LG introduced its new flagship LG G Pro 2 in Korea. Unfortunately, at that time, the company did not share information about the price of the device, or when it would go on sale. So, the device finally went on sale, however, as expected, so far only on its internal South Korean market. The gadget will be sold by all major Korean suppliers, including SK Telekom, KT and LG U +.

For those who are primarily interested in the price of new items, we will inform you that it was even higher without a contract than the main competitor in the face of the Galaxy Note 3. The LG G Pro 2 non-contract version is offered in Korea for 999,900 South Korean won, which is approximately equal to 930 dollars.

Such a high price brings the gadget in the price range to another device from the South Korean company - the curved LG G Flex smartphone, which is also being sold exclusively in the domestic market, but promises to appear in many world markets soon. For $ 930, which is asked for the LG G Pro 2, the buyer will receive a device with a 5.9-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, running on a Snapdragon 800 chipset with a frequency of 2.3 GHz in tandem with the Adreno graphics chip 330 and 3 GB of RAM.

In addition, the new product offers a 13-megapixel camera with an optical image stabilizer for better pictures and video, as well as an additional 2.1-megapixel front-facing optical sensor. Other features of the device are 16/32 GB of permanent memory, a slot microSD, Bluetooth 4.0, USB, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, NFC, as well as the operating system Android 4.4 KitKat.

LG is going to bring the new phablet to the largest international exhibition of mobile electronics MWC-2014, which will open its doors in a few days and allow you to get acquainted with the device earlier.

According to sources, the LG G Pro 2 will go on sale to the markets of other countries within a few months. Let's hope that in other parts of the world the price of the device will not be so high.
