LG has demonstrated its willingness to expand the model range of the “L” series smartphones with a new, third generation. The South Korean company announced the LG L90, L70 and L40 smartphones, whose official premiere will take place next week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Information about prices and availability of smartphones on sale will be known after their official premiere. All three are controlled by the latest version of the Android operating system (4.4 KitKat), support 3G connection at different speeds and are offered in black and white versions of the case. Let's start by seniority.
The model LG L90 is equipped with a 4.7-inch IPS-display with QHD-resolution (540 x 960 pixels), a quad-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and two cameras: a rear 8-megapixel and a front one 3 megapixels. Not a word about the possibility of expanding the memory, just a mark on the presence of a built-in 8 GB drive. A huge advantage of this model is a powerful 2540 mAh battery, and a removable one. The dimensions of the LG L90 are 131.6 x 66.0 x 9.7 millimeters, reports Android Central resource with reference to the official press release of LG Electronics.
This is followed by the LG L70 with a slightly smaller screen than its predecessor. The device has an IPS-display with a diagonal of 4.5 inches and a resolution of 400 x 800. Like the previous model, this one has 1 GB of RAM, but paired with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. LG L70 will come in two versions, depending on the sales market: with 8 - or 5-megapixel camera on the rear panel. Both versions offer a front VGA camera for selfies (photo of yourself). Also noted 4 GB of internal memory and a removable battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh. The LG L70 has the following dimensions: 127.2 x 66.8 x 9.5 millimeters.
LG L40, the most discreet of the three in terms of technical characteristics, is equipped with a 3.5-inch screen at 320 x 480 pixels, a 512 MB RAM module and a processor like the model of LG L70. There is no front camera here, but there is a 3 megapixel rear camera. The amount of internal storage is 4 GB, the possibility of expansion is not mentioned. Battery capacity will depend on the market, the options are: 1700 and 1540 mAh. The LG L40 is smaller, but thicker than the L70 and L90. Its dimensions are 109.4 x 59.0 x 11.9 millimeters.
Each of the three above-mentioned budget models can be equipped with a Quick Window cover at the request of the buyer. Previously, only LG flagship smartphones had this privilege.
