Speaking at the Semiconductor and Display Technology Roadmap Seminar 2014, held by the South Korean Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Samsung representatives confirmed the information that the company is working on a new smartphone with an AMOLED QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. But that is not all. The manufacturer also announced that it is already working on an even more impressive thing.

Still, it’s too early to wait for the UHD panels, and the company suggested focusing on the QHD resolution. Here it should be noted that in addition to the announcements related to the mobile device sector, Samsung told about plans to release AMOLED TVs equipped with UHD SHD-screen resolution - 7680 x 4320 pixels.
