Sony has announced the long-awaited Android-smartphone Xperia Z4, received some minor updates, compared with its predecessors. In appearance, the novelty is almost identical to the Xperia Z3 and Z2 models - the Omnibalance design using metal and glass plus a 5.2-inch 1080-screen. The new smartphone, however, turned out to be 0.4 millimeter thinner and 8 grams lighter than the Z3.
Inside the device is the Z3-familiar "stuffing": a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal memory (expandable with a MicroSD card) and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera. But decent improvements have touched the front camera. The number of megapixels in the sensor increased from 2.2 to 5.1. This will allow you to make better pictures of yourself.
Sony Z4 will be available in several color versions, when it goes on sale in Japan during the summer.
After two years of issuing new flagships every six months, Sony decided to slow down slightly. According to IBTimes, neither the compact version of Z4 nor the international launch of the smartphone is expected. This is due to Sony's new strategy for restructuring the company.
