#CES | LG introduced a budget line of smartphones K-series

LG has just announced a new line of affordable Android-smartphones K-series. The South Korean company wants to satisfy the desires of customers by providing relatively inexpensive devices, but using the latest camera technology. The first smartphones of the new series are the K10 and K7 models, which will be shown at CES-2016.

Unfortunately, the company does not announce prices for new items, but details about it are likely to become known in the next few days after the beginning of the exhibition. According to representatives of LG, these smartphones do not look cheap at all, but rather should be felt as premium devices, which can be purchased at affordable prices. For example, the back of the devices has a nice feel to the structure, which allows them to be more comfortable to hold and use, and the user interface LG UX will offer access to such unique camera functions as Gesture Shot and Gesture Interval Shot.

The older model among the presented devices, K10, is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras. The smartphone also has a more budgetary 3G version. The latter is equipped with 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras.

The novelty offers a 5.3-inch capacitive touch screen with support for a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The choice will be available versions running on a quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz (1.3 GHz) and an eight-core processor with a frequency of 1.14 GHz. Both versions will be equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. The volume of the latter can be increased by having a microSD slot and supporting the corresponding memory cards.

The LG K10 smartphone is powered by a 2300 mAh battery. The novelty is under the control of the operating system Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Model LG K7, as befits a younger brother, has more modest technical characteristics. The smartphone is equipped with a 5-inch touch screen with support for a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and will run on a quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.1 GHz or 1.3 GHz.

The main rear camera K7 - 8-megapixel. From the front side looks the eye of a 5-megapixel sensor. Available RAM memory smartphone will be allocated 1.5 GB or 1 GB. The choice will also be available versions of a smartphone with 16 GB or 8 GB of permanent memory, which can be increased up to 64 GB by supporting microSD memory cards.

Power smartphone LG K7 receives a battery capacity of 2215 mAh. The device is running an operating system Android 5.1 Lollipop.
